Witchwork Vs. The Spirit Board

I was pleasantly surprised by how intriguing the movie “Witchboard” turned out to be. When I decided to watch it, I had modest expectations, so I wasn’t crushed when it didn’t surpass them significantly; however, it did meet my expectations and came close to exceeding them, even if only slightly.

The Spirit Board served as a central and pivotal aspect of the film, influencing every tragic death and horrifying event that occurs throughout the story. Its enigmatic powers not only initiate a series of chilling incidents but also weave together seemingly minor moments that ultimately build up to a shocking conclusion. As the plot unfolds, viewers will find themselves drawn deeper into the mystery of the board, leading to a finale that is truly mind-blowing and entirely unpredictable. This unexpected twist will leave audiences questioning everything they thought they knew about the narrative and its characters.

Karma is Justified …or is It?

In life, individuals often seek to balance perceived injustices, desiring karma to address any wrongs they may have experienced. The principle of “an eye for an eye” reflects this sentiment. The film “Wish Upon” (2017) illustrates this concept through a narrative in which a young girl acquires a cursed music box that grants her wishes. Each wish fulfilled results in harm, or even death, to someone else. This raises the question of whether such outcomes represent karma and whether they are considered justified. When faced with wrongdoing, a person may contemplate whether to pursue retribution or to refrain and allow natural consequences to occur. The answer may vary, as some individuals assert a need for immediate retribution over waiting for longer-term consequences. This movie is similar to Wish Upon in this aspect.

Alexander Babtise

In Witchboard, Alexander serves as the main antagonist, expertly manipulating the deepest desires of those around him. He skillfully convinces others that he is on their side, all while secretly working against them. This type of deception is surprisingly common in the real world—have you ever encountered people who behave this way? I find it intriguing and would love to hear your thoughts on this perspective. Throughout the movie, Alexander pursues a hidden agenda, and as I watched, I began to unravel the intricacies of his overall plan. Do you think you’ll be able to uncover it as well?

Witchboard

I found Witchboard engaging, and I appreciated the various elements that combined to create its eerie atmosphere. The character of the witch, Naga Soth, was particularly fascinating. Her curse on the Spirit Board served as a central plot device, leading to some unexpected twists in the narrative. The story itself unfolded in a uniquely captivating way, with layers of deception woven throughout the plot, making the viewer question what was real and what was merely the influence of the supernatural. Overall, “Witchboard” delivered an enjoyable experience that kept me engaged from beginning to end.
