Film Synopsis of “White Bird“→ A prequel and sequel to the 2017 film “Wonder.” Struggling to fit in at his new school after being expelled for his treatment of Auggie Pullman, Julian (Bryce Gheisar) is visited by his grandmother (Helen Mirren) & is transformed by the story of her attempts to escape Nazi-occupied France during World War II.
How Pure Is the White Bird?
The pure and striking beauty of white birds makes them a perfect symbol of peace and purity, often depicted near heavenly gates alongside angels. This movie captures the essence of purity and innocence and deserves to be embraced by people’s hearts and minds. Have you ever felt that way when you saw a white bird flying around you? What feelings came over you? Was it any of the ones listed in the above sentence? It had to be. The color “white” represents purity and innocence. There is no other way to see a white bird. To me, they are symbolic and represent something crucial. What do they mean and say to you?
The Art of Perfecting Care & Charity
Julian, a young boy, was not very kind to others, specifically Auggie from the 2017 film “Wonder,” which “White Bird” is a sequel to. Julian’s behavior towards Auggie caused him to feel ashamed and embarrassed at school. Julian realized that the same level of mistreatment can have consequences, and the hurtful feelings one inflicts on others can come back as payback or punishment. During a conversation with his grandmother, Julian expressed his desire to find a balance between being kind and assertive, without wanting to cause harm to anyone. He acknowledged the importance of embracing kindness as an integral part of his true and honest nature, without feeling defeated.
The Young Sara
When Sara was describing to her grandson the acts of kindness and the torment she endured as a Jewish person, and the selfless acts of the Beaumier Family to keep her safe from brutal attacks and killings, I truly believe there is no other story that can illustrate such a pure and true act of kindness. What this family did for Sara was nothing short of astounding and deeply moved me. It’s not every day that one witnesses such a miraculous act of kindness. I won’t go into detail, but you have to see it to believe it!
Kindness Works! Care Is There!!
Keep on soaring and never stop soaring! Fly and aim for the stars, all the bright and beautiful, majestic birds in the big, bright blue sky. Reach your dreams! That is what this movie demonstrated for me! Showing someone that you care is free. Show everyone love and humanity. The world is filled already with so much hatred and violence – let’s all try to aim to become better human beings and show more kindness to everyone as we show to ourselves!
Love Helen Mirren! I haven’t seen this trailer yet!!
Well, this was one of those films that was part of that push back form the SAGAFTRA Strike, but it was not widely advertised, but it should have been because it is worth seeing from what you read from my review. For real!
I still haven’t seen Wonder!!! I need to see both! Your last sentence of the review was beautiful!
Wow-wwweeeezzz peezy! My very last sentence, huh? Now, you have intrigued me – I might have to go back and re-read what I wrote now, Daddy! You know that I try to inspire and touch lives with my writings! What am I talking about? Of course, you do! I still cannot believe that you haven’t seen Wonder! That movie is so profound that you need a box of tissues next to you – I am not kidding, and I rarely shed tears in a movie theater, but I did! Yes, in damn deed I did …after seeing what I did – how could anyone with a Soul – not?
