Film Synopsis of “The First Omen” → A young American woman (Nell Tiger Free) is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the Church but encounters darkness that causes her to question her faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate!
Is This the First Omen, Truly?
We have been led to believe that this film is a prequel to The First Omen films – I’ve never seen any of them. If I had, they did not have that much of an effect on me. I love the genre of horror films & I was interested in seeing this film for the simple reason that it piqued my interest with curiosity simply because I love horror films – it does not have to be faith-based films such as this one in particular. Therefore, just entertaining the idea of the Antichrist is sickening to me to have a male child be born to corrupt all in the world that is good and to just be brought into the world for the Devil to be the Devil is something that I cannot even comprehend – or even would want to!
Such A Devastating Reminder of …
…pain and anguish. This film reminded me of the recent film, Immaculate starring Sydeny Sweeney where she was in a very unique situation, and she was lied to and was impregnated with experimental whatever you choose to call it to carry a baby to bring about change in a convent that really was not of the righteous things. Margaret is shown to us an innocent young woman whom simply wants to help other young women but is drawn to Carlita who unbeknownst to her bears a gift that is very similar to hers.
The Birth of the Antichrist Has Arrived
The Chruch had been searching for “the perfect candidate” to carry their healthy and perfect baby BOY. All they wanted was a boy and not a girl. They had been impregnating young sister nuns with evil sperm for who knows how long & there was one Sister Nun that was gruesomely penalized for disobeying the very disobedient rules and then she just could not take it any longer and so she decided to take matters into her own hands. It’s all for you is what she said when she took her own life by fire. Yes, I am spoiling it for you because this was a very dull movie for me that really is predictable and not worth anyone’s time, honestly speaking.
Finding The Inner-Strength Within Yourself!
You know the same saying that evil tries to corrupt the good-natured beings in the world. It’s the truth especially in any horror film esp. those where the films are based on real true events. Evil exists for one reason and for one reason only – to spread loss; whether it be to spread the loss of your Soul for evil because you have moved toward the dark side or you have chosen to do bad instead of good. B good, be pure, be righteous, and you will never go wrong. That is ALWAYS what is best!
