The Borderlands. Where Do You Find the End?
The movie was not well-advertised & to be truthfully honest with you – considering that this movie was based on a video game, one would think that everyone should have heard of it. Good thing MARVEL did not pick it up, because then that would have been an even bigger disappointment. The film was average, but nothing worth bragging about, and certainly not a film that was worth getting their collectible item for like a popcorn bucket. The end of The Borderlands was quite the ending – and very appropriate. At certain times in our lives, we can see the end of the rainbow and at others, we can see a light at the end of the rainbow.
The Ambush
Having an ambush set up on you is never a good thing. How would you feel if someone you trusted with your life set you up with an ambush to destroy or betray you? Would you have a big enough heart to eventually forgive them, but never trust them again? If their life was on the line – would you sacrifice yourself to save them or let them die? All of these are questions that Lileth had to answer when she was ambushed with more than just country hunters on her tail when she was manipulated into saving a girl that had no special talents, powers, or gifts that she was led to believe that she had. Words of advice: keep your friends close & your enemies closer!
“Tiny Tina” with the Big Heart
Tina stood out among the myriad of characters in the movie as the most outrageous and unforgettable little gangster of them all. Her remarkable resilience, power, intelligence, and outspoken nature made her character truly captivating. There’s a saying that children have a special ability to see things that adults can’t, and Tina embodied this idea perfectly with her gifts and unique perspective. Despite her brief life, she truly believed she was destined for greatness. It’s interesting to ponder whether she still held onto that belief after uncovering the truth. I must say, I was incredibly impressed by the young actress’s performance and her ability to keep us thoroughly entertained! Kudos to this little star!
The Closing Remarks Reach the Border
The movie was action-packed & had kept my attention, but it still was not that big of a draw, and I was not going into it with any big expectations to be brutally honest with you. I did enjoy it, and I was intrigued by the cast and the storyline. Is it something to rush out and see – or even rent? No! That is my brutally honest opinion! But it is worth giving it one shot if you have heard or every played the video game before ever.

You trust me that much already liek all my other friends do and take my word like gold? Soem moves are worth seeing once and liek I said in my review – it was entertianing, but it was pretty average. But also to each their own, too. But LOVE your loyalty to me, Brother!
I was excited b/c I love Jamie but honestly it looked boring…like maybe should have been a series on streaming or streaming movie. Wasn’t it also the lowest box earner this summer!?! They can’t all be winners but listen as an actor I’d love to get to play in that world;)
Candidly speaking – I was NOT going into the movie with very high expectations; as a matter of fact, THIS WAS NOT one of the films on my list to even watch. I just randomly decided to check it out and I did. Thank God, for A-List, huh?
