I never thought I would witness a film that features a whimsical flying dog adorned with a Superman cape! It’s a delightful, surreal moment that tickles the imagination. Knowing that Gunn poured his heart and soul into this project for over two years is impressive; initially, the concept took an entirely different direction. Yet at its core, the film still celebrates the incredible superhero we all cherished as children—the one we admired, respected, and aspired to emulate, even in our dreams! Lex Luthor
I have to say, I was genuinely impressed by his portrayal of Lex Luthor—he delivered the role with remarkable intensity! It’s fascinating to think that he is just a young adult actor stepping into the shoes of a character famously played by the legendary Gene Hackman, who left an indelible mark on the role. Hackman’s performance was iconic, and he brought a unique charm and charisma to Lex Luthor that is hard to replicate.
Watching Hault, I noticed he often seemed on the brink of tears, conveying a deeply emotional side to the character. In many scenes, he appeared as if he was struggling with his feelings, almost ready to break down, which added a layer of complexity to Lex’s character. However, I found it surprising that he didn’t fully embrace that vulnerability in the one critical scene where it was most needed. Was anyone else captivated by the way his eyes looked watery during those moments, or was it just me?
Superman Placed On Earth For?
. Superman is truly an iconic superhero, embodying hope and justice. It’s unimaginable that Luthor would dare to fabricate such a colossal and utterly contemptible lie against a figure like Superman. This shocking and degrading accusation left me stunned and bewildered. I can’t fathom why Gunn would choose to take his audience down this dark and disturbing path, presenting a plot twist so unexpected that it completely caught me off guard. It turned my perception upside down for the film to go in this direction and for it to be written in such a way for a character who millions idolize to see him be accused of something so beyond …I don’t even have the words to have that implanted into our minds and to see it on camera and in a movie even though it is still a movie and we cannot unsee it – for me, it was rather absurd and yes …” out there.” Way out there!

I will admit that Clark Kent’s future remains incredibly bright and warm, a reflection of the love and support he receives from Lois Lane and his parents, who nurtured him from the moment of his birth. This foundation of unconditional love and guidance is what truly makes any individual remarkable, super, even! Would you agree, or at least entertain the thought?
Clark embodies more than just the notion of being a man; he transcends that by being a super man, defined by his capacity for love. He possesses a profound appreciation for life and an unwavering concern for others. His choices consistently reflect his heroic nature, as he dedicates himself to saving people and protecting our world. His commitment to rescuing those in need—whether they are ordinary citizens or those struggling against overwhelming odds—underscores his role as a champion of justice and goodness. It is this selflessness and dedication that have always fueled my admiration for this particular superhero.
In essence, superheroes like Clark Kent exist for a singular purpose: to inspire and motivate. I have no words for how incredible that was! The vulnerability of Superman -that monologue delivered at the end -seriously… EVERYONE SHOULD AND MUST see this in the theatre! I saw it in IMAX 3D and was just in awe …the touching story and Krypto made me laugh so hard!!!! Can’t wait till Supergirl NEXT SUMMER and how will Gunn top this for the sequel! I can’t wait!
