“M3GAN 2.0″ Plot: Two years after M3GAN’s rampage, her creator, Gemma (Allison Williams), resorts to resurrecting her infamous creation to take down Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), the military-grade weapon who was built by a defense contractor who stole M3GAN’s underlying tech!
Hold On To Your ….
Oh, absolutely! What is it that M3gan tells us to hold onto? Is it our humanity, people, or is it something else? LOL! As we embrace the 21st century, the progress in robotics is astounding, particularly with the character of Gemma in this sequel. This evolution raises crucial questions and concerns about AI and its pervasive role in our lives. Have you ever paused to reflect on how our phones, computers, and various devices utilize artificial intelligence to simplify tasks with just a tap or a click? It’s worth considering how that impacts our existence. How does it make you feel?
AMELIA
As you reflect on the name Amelia in the future, will it evoke vivid memories of this film? Will you recall what the acronym stands for—Autonomous Military Engagement Logistics & Infiltration Android? The term “Android” itself is intriguing. Think about it: how many of us use Android smartphones or even iPhones in our daily lives? The thought of advanced technology extending beyond our screens into something like a sophisticated AI android is fascinating. Imagine the potential implications if technology were to evolve to that extent, blurring the line between fiction and reality. With the constant advancements we see in fields like artificial intelligence, robotics, and machine learning, the idea of androids becoming a part of our society seems more plausible than ever. It raises questions about the direction our technological development is heading: Is it an exciting frontier, or a worrying leap into uncharted territory?
Guiding & Advising
Moreover, one critical theme highlighted in the film is the need for parents to carefully regulate their children’s interactions with electronic devices. Gemma consistently emphasized the importance of limiting screen time. Many of us recognize the compelling grip that electronic gadgets have on children today. It’s alarming to see even toddlers engrossed in smartphones and tablets, captivated by games, movies, and videos available at their fingertips.
M3GAN 2.0 Leaves Her Mark With Us Forever!
The propensity for these devices to shape behavior and influence young minds poses serious concerns. As parents, we must consider whether we want our children to be solely guided by the algorithms and screens of these devices or whether we should prioritize their interactions with real, living people who can provide emotional support, social skills, and critical thinking. This choice is crucial for fostering well-rounded, engaged individuals who can thrive in a world where technology coexists with human experience. M3gan came back NEW and VERY much improved in this film and it was for the better and for that lesson … it can show that if a robot can adapt, change, and do what is right and was NOT programmed to do what is right and knows the difference between right and wrong – human beings should too!
I haven’t seen the movie as of yet. I am now looking forward to seeing it based on this review. I definitely resonate with technology raising our children. I’ve seen first hand a baby navigating thru a iPhone.
Yes – I may sound silly to some by what I wrote in this review; but I think I made some very strong – and logical points. And, also, like you, I have observed very small children navigating through electric devices better than an adult or a Geek Squad techie at Best Buy and I’m not even joking!
Oh I’m gonna love it!
Yeah, I think so. How did you feel about the first one?
I didn’t finish it, but it peeked my interest from the trailer alone …
You’re talking about the first one, corrrect?
Yes.
Gotcha!
Looking forward I think they made the wrong decision releasing to theatres-Megan was succcessful b/c it was released on peacock streaming!
The new one looks incredible and your assessment of life with androids or robots is spot on we are coming to a point in humanity where that will happen… and if people pay attention movies teach us things sometimes …life has gotten so busy that it’s just easier to put a kid with an iPad then sit down and play games with them or color or what not we’ve lost a lot of that family values which is why the world is changing so fast! Check out Bad Rudy under Grok and you’ll see susceptible minds could easily fall!
Will do! I will check that out for sure – but I already know how technology can teach and do for us just as well as humans could IF they elected to and NOT allow computers and systems to do things and pamper us and our children – smart pets, smartphones, smart homes, ALEXA this and that, etc! What’s next? I hate to think ….
