What Does It Mean, Daddio?

Picsart 24 06 03 22 22 15 380 minI’m sure we’ve all come across terms like “zaddy,” or – “daddio,” and others used to describe an attractive male figure at some point in our adult lives. These terms all share a common theme – they are used to convey that the man being referred to is appealing in some way. As the film unfolds, it becomes clear why the title is chosen and why the woman in the back of the cab refers to the special man in her life using such terms. Having a man be labeled as a sex object can stroke a man’s ego and inflate it even more than it already is and this movie dives deep down into serious issues about men and how they can use women to their advantge/s.

Clark: The Play Daddy and the Girlie’s Father Figure Consultant

Picsart 24 06 03 22 30 57 873 minIt’s so interesting when you unexpectedly connect with a stranger, isn’t it? Have you ever felt such a strong, non-romantic bond with someone you just met? It’s like feeling an instant spark and being able to open up and share deeply with them. It’s a profound experience, isn’t it? Do you ever find it comforting to receive candid insights about your life from a stranger rather than from your close friends or family? It’s so important to consider what feels right for you in each situation. It seems like Clark shares a special connection with Girlie as their conversation deepens. There was something about this character of Clk that would make me or anyone as you see him in the film wish that he was our taxi, Uber, or Lyft Driver because he just can start a conversation and make you so comfortable in talking.

Girlie’s Pink Pleasures!!!

Picsart 24 06 03 22 23 24 482 minThe movie contained unexpected scenes that took me by surprise. I was completely caught off guard by the content while Girlie was texting her lover in the back of the cab. The imagery and messages were completely unexpected given the movie’s plot description. It was surprising to encounter these elements in a movie like Daddio, but in a way, it did make sense considering the title and the overall theme. I will have to say it …but I think that you can catch my drift on what I am trying to write here in this paragraph, yeah, I am surprised that some older people did not get up and walk out after what was written and shown!

Yellow Taxi Rides versus Pink Rides on Love!

Picsart 24 06 03 22 24 24 658 minThe movie concludes with something NOT happening that you would think would happen given the chemistry between the two actual characters in the film and the way that Clark was looking at the girl he was driving in the back of his taxi from JFK the entire film. It is very obvious – I think that it would happen. In closing, talking to a perfect stranger about your personal life – is it necessarily a good thing? That can go both ways! It all depends on the two people how comfortable they are with each other and how open they want to be about the topics they discuss. Think of it this way: how many of you have ridden in an Uber or Lyft car service and the driver has tried to spark a conversation with you rather than sitting in a quiet car? Same scenario …just different circumstances!
