Juror

Is Being A Juror A Difficult Job – or A Tasked Force?

1732725410003 minThe topic of jury duty raises significant considerations regarding the responsibilities of jurors. Serving as a juror involves not only a civic duty but also an obligation to ensure that justice is served for individuals involved in a case. These individuals have the power to influence the outcomes of legal proceedings, which can profoundly affect the lives of defendants and their families.

Justin Kemp & His Conscious

1732725333980 minWhile Justin was selected as Juror #2 in the James Sythe Murder case, he was deeply enmeshed with the case from the very beginning, and if I were in his shoes, I would and wouldn’t know what to do myself. This movie brings out so many emotions and “what if” scenarios that it makes you anxious! Many individuals selected for jury duty may not fully recognize the seriousness of their role and the weight of the decisions they are required to make. It is essential for those selected as jurors to carefully evaluate all evidence presented during a trial and engage in thorough deliberation rather than succumbing to pressure to reach a quick consensus. The process can be complicated, as some jurors may feel inclined to rush to a decision without fully considering all aspects of the case, potentially leading to unjust outcomes.

Clearing My Head

1732725357077 minServing as a juror can be incredibly challenging, especially when faced with the weighty implications of one’s decisions. The responsibility that comes with jury duty requires a thoughtful and compassionate perspective to ensure justice.  Served fairly. Justin found himself on the jury, and as he absorbed the evidence and distressing images from the trial provided by the Defense Attorney of the death of the girlfriend, he felt increasingly unsettled. Each day brought new waves of anxiety as he grappled with the moral dilemma before him. Seeking support and guidance during this tough time was crucial for him, and one can only hope that the advice he received helped him navigate through such a difficult situation.

The Verdict

1732725435923 minI will admit this to you all – Clint Eastwood never disappoints when he writes or directs a film, and this one was well-directed knowing that the man can barely even talk nowadays, but he is still a damn Legend in my book! Hault gave a wonderful performance, and he made me feel EVERY LAST SINGLE emotion that his character was feeling while watching this film. If anyone were to ever be in his shoes, I literally would be speechless and would not know what to say or how to advice them. The obvious answer is there, of course, but I do not give spoilers in any of my reviews, if there were any other options readily available for and to Justin, I am sure he would run at them – and the ending ….WOW! You don’t know….you get to write it…

I didn’t even know Eastwood had a new movie he directed out. Crazy how now a days good dramatic movies get lost until you review them and then we learn about them.

    1. Happy to assist! I hope you make time to see this!
