  1. Excellent review! You mentioned points that I also noticed while watching the movie.

One thing I like about scary movies is that they’re a little bit like animated movies; they can raise issues, and they don’t get as much attention as a drama because of all the blood that kills or the graphics or the animation.

So it’s a little bit like a computer screen where they’re safe with it, so I think that’s why they’re able to get away with it more, which I think is great. They don’t always get raised, and you point some of them out that are. Some viewers don’t notice them so it can be fun to talk about.

Misogyny was something I picked up, but the main character wanted the robot to do as he wanted, act the way he wanted her to act, give them sex, cook for him, and everything else. That’s a little bit scary.

Then towards the end, dinner, even where he’s using the gay robot, and he’s using both of them just to serve him.

    1. Very much true. People are either treated like robots or punching bags. But there always is a third option: to be treated as an equal – a human being and that’s what is wrong in this world today. Everyone is treated fairly – but not equally. Thanks for your remarks!
