A Boy Killing Machine in Cold Red Bloody Delight!
In the movie “Kill Bill”, Uma Thurman’s character is referred to as “The Bride”, and in “Boy Kills World”, the killer’s name is “The Boy”. I strongly believe that the idea for “Boy Kills World” was inspired by “Kill Bill”. The striking similarities are that both movies have pools of blood, excessive gore, and revenge as a central plot. However, the killer doesn’t speak and is mute. The movie features a young kid seeking revenge and going on a killing spree. While watching the film, I couldn’t help but think about Quentin Tarantino’s movies, known for their excessive violence and gore.
Yes!! Revenge Is a Dish Best Served …How?
Anytime someone hurts us, we may become tempted to seek revenge and attack them. But is that the legacy we want to leave behind? Instead, let’s choose to rise above, to be bigger and better than those who hurt us. Let’s choose to forgive, to let go of the pain, and to move forward with grace and dignity. We have the free agency to break the cycle of revenge and create a better world. Jason Statham’s film, The Beekeeper came to mind while I was watching the movie as well because that film was all about revenge – but his retribution was warranted in his eyes, but is some killings worth losing your Soul for?
The Boy vs. Dave
Without a doubt, the entire movie was action-packed and filled with gallons of blood splattering everywhere. The protagonist was pitted against a robotic human named Dave in an intense competition that lasted for what felt like hours but was only a few minutes long. Dave appeared invulnerable, but the protagonist’s facial expressions during the fight were priceless. Despite being mute, the protagonist’s expressions were his unique way of communicating with others.
Bloody Boy … Bloody Boy … What A Joy!
The movie was undeniably entertaining, and while someone might say that the violence was excessive, the trailers and advertisements did warn us about the extreme violence in the film. However, I have noticed that many senior couples have posted negative feedback comments regarding the intense violent nature of the film. But just because a movie has a lot of violence and younger Americans enjoy watching it doesn’t mean that they are close-minded or support violence.
Travis’ “Blood Red” Truth
People have diverse opinions and beliefs, and we should not judge them based on one thing or be closed-minded. We should be more open and accepting of others’ opinions. There are different races, religions, nationalities, sexual orientations, and other unique elements that make up human beings. We should not shy away from our feelings or be afraid to speak our truth. This is my honest review, and I always stand by it.
How in the world have I missed this trailer!!! I love him! Sounds like an interesting story. Gore doesn’t bother me, but I’m not a Kill Bill fan. Would you say it had “that feel” – or just like you say in write up… The gory-esque feels more like “Kill Bill.”
NO! It IS …Kill Bill! Just like I said. You see it. You feel it. You witness it. You’re there period. It is over the top as if you are re-watching that movie only with a boy going on a bloodbath killing spree with NO voice – kind of like the “Don’t Breathe” films – he was blind, but still killed people in a gory way. Who knows, someone may come up with a film where the killer will have no hands next & brutally murder people?!?! 🤣🤣🤣
