Smile 2

Stop Smiling at Me!!!!

Picsart 24 10 14 12 28 24 608 minThis film was definitely a significant improvement over the first one. However, I strongly believe that Dr. Rose Cotter should not have died in the first film, as her character set the stage for these movies. With the success of the SMILE sequel, I am confident that these movies will continue to thrive, especially given the unsettling way this particular sequel ended. It was apparent that many in the auditorium shared my sentiments about the ending.

The Return of Officer Joel: The Cursed

Picsart 24 10 14 12 24 08 855 minI was thrilled to learn that Joel would be the only character from the previous film to return in the sequel. It’s always great to see the original cast members in a successful movie franchise. I’m curious about Joel’s fate – do you think his character’s story was short-lived, or did he manage to pass the curse on to someone else and save himself?

Skye Riley

She had numerous unexplained scars all over her body, and the film never delved into their origins. It’s perplexing when a character’s distinctive traits are repeatedly highlighted without any further exploration or explanation. This oversight detracts from the coherence of the storyline and leaves the audience with unanswered questions.

The Curse of Smiling

Picsart 24 10 14 12 26 10 404 minHave you ever wondered if we will ever unravel the mystery behind the infamous cursed smile? Despite our fascination with these films, the origin of this curse remains shrouded in mystery. All we know is that failure to pass on the curse results in being consumed by the host. Various myths and beliefs surround ways to break the curse. Do you think this enigma will ever be resolved? And would you even want it to be, considering how delightfully wicked and entertaining the films are?

Lewis Fregoli

Picsart 24 10 14 12 25 13 417 minHow do you think the curse was passed onto Lewis? Were you able to figure this out? That is what perplexed me so much. He was the one who passed it to Skye in the film, but the Host is the one who killed him and took possession over his body and killed himself. Like I said, this entire series is sort of perplexing, but fun in another way at the same time. The way that Lewis offed himself on screen would make anyone vomit and just stare in disbelief, but Sky had no idea what she was in for while looking dead & directly straight at him!

I still have not seen the first one. This just looks so creepy!

    • It is creepy – but has a good plot twist to it that I know you will enjoy. I suggest that you watch the first one and then this one – the Writing and Directing team has ZERO plans to slow down and I am in love with the film. Jack Nicholson’s son, Ray was in this one, but for a short period, and is the spitting image of him esp. when he “smiles.” Have I ever steered you wrong before?
